All my work is created from a private studio outside London and therefore these Terms and Conditions are subject to the laws of England and Wales.
I am an artist, not a lawyer but I offer the following as the legal basis upon which I trade.
Unless otherwise clearly stated all my pieces are unique and will not be reproduced, one-off means just that - one only will be created.
I can deliver and install any large, complex piece into position if required by the customer, for an additional fee. I will not be responsible for damage or unsuitability of a piece after delivery.
I encourage personal inspection of any pre-made piece before purchase as following purchase and safe delivery, no refunds will be made. For wall art purchased, a refund will only be issued if there is photographic evidence of damage.
In the case of any designer textiles (clothing, homewares etc) as these are custom made to order, are non returnable and no refunds will be issued unless the item is faulty or damaged and then photographic evidence of packaging and the item need to be provided within three (3) working days of delivery..
Title to any piece purchased passes to the buyer upon final payment. Risk passes upon safe delivery.
Commissioned work may be subject to further Terms & Conditions which will be supplied to parties with a serious interest in commissioning a piece.

The short version - When you order an abstract wall art piece you may notice a slight difference in the colours on the printed substrate you've received and what you see on your monitor if you were to compare the two. This is because different inks will behave differently on different materials and of course, lighting has a big part to play in this. All artwork is sent to my specialist printers who only use high quality inks and materials.
The longer version - Perfect / exact colour matching is probably impossible, even with professional equipment. This is due to the differences in colour reproduction methods between monitor output and printer output. There are also discrepancies in the colour gamut that can be rendered by various media.
Printed photographs reflect ambient light. We all know that light reflected from a print viewed outside in the sunlight will look very different from a print viewed indoors at night. Monitors generate their own light rather than reflecting ambient light. The colours emitted by the monitor will remain unchanged, regardless of changes in ambient lighting. This results in differences between respective colours when comparing a print to the same image viewed on your monitor.
Slight colour variations can also apply to art sculptures, lighting and contemporary art works.
