Fashion is Turning Artwork into Products

So the question begs to be asked and pondered and argued ... "Does turning artwork into products devalue them?"

Why shouldn't artworks be made mainstream. Read mainstream = affordable, so that it becomes accessible to more and more people who would otherwise never be able to afford such a piece?

Fancy wearing a Basquiat, Monet or dare I say it, yes I will, a Yol@ Originals?

How cool is it that your art is seen worn by people from streetkids to personalities.

No doubt this question will always be a matter of contention and has only been briefly addressed here but how wonderful the thought that an artist you have always admired, can now adorn a part of your body?

How can that possibly devalue anyone?
