Falling in Love with London
I have been living in England, about half an hour from the heart of London, for about three years now. I never thought I'd say it but there is a magic about London that pulls you in like a magnet.
I love our planned and spontaneous trips to London. It's rich with history. There are so many old buildings, bridges and historical monuments that leave me in awe. Tall buildings stretch into the sky, beautiful, modern architecture of the Shard and the Gherkin (30 St Mary Axe) and the quirky London Ark. I spend so much time gazing up and photographing, that my better half has become instrumental in keeping me safe.
Discovering a new art museum and how they all vary, has become a tradition on each new jaunt. The London underground, whilst a labrynth is a wonder and can be quite easy to navigate.
The city is cosmopolitan and exciting, with fantastic restaurants and something new to discover on every corner. London is filled with so much culture it's impossible not to find something to feel strongly about.
It's my go-to for inspiration, fun, and a dose of culture. It will leave me with memories that will last a lifetime.
