The Big Apple
I used to think Big Apple was tied to apple growing but I since learned it's in connection to horseracing?!
Regardless, we spent a couple of weeks here and in New Jersey, exploring art galleries and visiting the absolutely amazing Corning Museum of Glass. What a source of inspiration and beauty. Even managed to blow a piece of glass art.
I love New York, truly an exquisite melting, hot-pot. From experiencing the Empire State Building at midnight, to eating a massive salad in sprawling Madison Square Gardens, Broadway and dinner in neon-lit Times Square, breakfast in China town, another night and another dinner, this time in Little Italy and so the list went on.
It was a jam packed time away that was for a little rest and recreation. I do recall limping the last few days of our stay, for the incredible amount of miles we walked and I'd do it all again in a heartbeat.
